Majah Hype Says He’s Getting Death Threats Following Split From Ex

Majah Hype says he is getting death threats following a bitter split with his ex-girlfriend.

It has been more than a month now since the world was made aware of the struggles both Majah Hype and his estranged wife Latisha Kirby were putting each other through. The varying forms of abuse from both sides sent shockwaves through the entire Caribbean and its diaspora. Following the release of multiple sex tapes starring Kirby and other men, accusations of physical abuse, and images of Majah Hype wearing female underwear, it seems things are once again heating up. The Caribbean Comedian took to his Instagram account to alert his over 1 million followers of threats he has been receiving from someone associated with Kirby.

“I’m so tired of all this bulls**t and I’m done with the silence you got your girl back that you never really wanted in the first place, you f**ked up my kids and our family now I’m hearing about knowing my address and who gonna kill who when they see me? I left New York to get away from the low life’s and to give my kids a future why the f**k y’all keep calling up my name in f**kery? Why the lies and threats? Y’all not satisfied yet?” Majah questioned.

“LISTEN LEAVE ME AND MY F***ING KIDS ALONE GO BE HAPPY WITH YOUR SLAVE, IM HAPPY FOR YALL!!!” Majah Hype typed while expressing that he simply wants to be left alone.

The post was deleted from Majah’s Instagram page.

Following the removal of the post, Majah Hype took to IG LIVE to put a face to what he previously wrote. The subject matter of his LIVE centered around the main aggressor winning over Kirby through manipulation, a tactic he has supposedly been using since she was 15 years old. Majah Hype refrained from naming the person in question. Concerned fans advised Majah to not take the threats lightly and further urged him to file a proper report with the police.

Over the Holiday season, there were rumors that Majah and his wife had worked out their differences. Social media personnel Babbzy silenced those rumors and made mention that the matter will is even more serious now that the matter will be taken to court.

“Let me advise you that this situation has reached the stages that things have gone legal and NO @kirbyfbaby is not back together with the Whitney Houston Blogger. She is taking the time she needs to heal and NO she did not release the photos of him in a G-string panty. ?She has remained silent because thats (sic) what you so when you need to rebuild and heal. You all have dragged her to shreds she has no need to be on social media while she deals with this life storm,” Babbzy mentioned.

Ssq – Jet Town Je T’aime Lyrics

Flying above the Florida Keys
Going down south duty free
Pirates rum, Jamaican weed
The sound of Marley guaranteed
Cross Montego Bay at dawn
Thought I’d missed seeing James Bond
Chasing evil Dr. No
Like a secret agent hero
And he always gets the girl
Who seduced the world

If your plane goes down in Jet Town
You can almost disappear
Comes on that deja vu
Caribbean blue
Jet Town
Go down with me

There’s a writer next door in a sugar shack
Had a best seller out in paperback
You don’t need money in paradise
Just a platinum heart of ice
That man, Gogan, he missed his flight
We had a few drinks, then he spent the night
Sure gets tough being so damn international
But if you wanna rebel
You can always wreck a hotel

If your plane goes down in Jet Town
You can almost disappear
Comes on that deja vu
Caribbean blue
Jet Town
Go down with me

Gertrude Stein and Hemingway
Just got in from Santa Fe
At Ritz Canteen it was the last call
An old Van Gogh hung on the wall
Like sunset in a hurricane
Bermuda skies will take your name
Beneath the waves, silent cries
All the dreams that oxidize
Major Tom
Won’t you please take me along

If your plane goes down in Jet Town
You can almost disappear
Comes on that deja vu
Caribbean blue
Jet Town
Go down with me

Ace Of Base – Prime Time Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Cuban cigars and the lass lass in the bars
I see the rise and a hope for this down downtown Miami
Where the people are moving and grooving from dusk till dawn
My progress is you and I want it

[Chorus]
Prime Time, party time
Always here in the Caribbean sun
Drop dead melodies
Do it at the feast
Prime Time, party time
Always here in the Caribbean sun
Land of future, land of dreams
The rhythm is so divine

[Verse 2]
Unique I am like a unicorn tonight
So good to be at a place
That tomorrow is the answer
To the problems today
We should all go down to the light
They’re so right, we’re so wrong, we like it

[Chorus]
Prime Time, party time
Always here in the Caribbean sun
Drop dead melodies
Do it at the feast
Prime Time, party time
Always here in the Caribbean sun
Land of future, land of dreams
The rhythm is so divine
Prime Time, party time
Always here in the Caribbean sun
Drop dead melodies
Do it at the feast
Prime Time, party time
Always here in the Caribbean sun
Land of future, land of dreams
The rhythm is so divine

[Outro / Verse 3]
Cuba Cuba Libre
Cuba Cuba Libre (come on now)
Cuba Cuba Libre (I’m always coming over to you)
Cuba Cuba Libre
Cuba Cuba Libre (I’m always coming over to you)
Cuba Cuba Libre

Dave – Location Lyrics

[Intro]
JAE5

[Chorus: Burna Boy]
If you send me the location
Then I’ll be right there
Let me come, come check you, my baby
No time, no
And my dawg is on probation
Another 5 years
Me bring girls to his location
No time, no

[Verse 1: Dave]
Send me the location
This year ’bout vacations
Flight catching, train taking
Soon as my nigga off probation
Your boyfriend’s on a waiting ting
Looking for one wish, on a Ray J ting
I pree’d that girl, outrageous ting
But she can’t see ’cause I got shades and ting
Bare girls wanna throw shade and ting
No shade, what shade is your foundation in?
Darkest grey, the shade I’m in
49 more if your babes wants in
I had me a famous ting
Goals and tings, gains and tings
My house party a babe station
Girls wanna chase, it’s a status ting

[Chorus: Burna Boy]
If you send me the location
Then I’ll be right there
Let me come, come check you, my baby
No time, no
And my dawg is on probation
Another 5 years
Me bring girls to his location
No time, no

[Verse 2: Dave]
Look, playboy, I don’t need a Carti
I’m captain, I lead the army
Bad ratio, I leave the party
Three Somalis creepin’ on me
Your ex wavy, we tsunami
Girl from India, sweet as naani
Head so good, now I speak Gujarati
You hardly, pardon me, I’m laughing again
I assisted, man, passed to my friend
Look, money like the alphabet
If you wanna see P’s, gotta pass on the ends
Came a long way from a park in the bends
To an ’18 plate, man’s parking a Benz
Far from the rest but I’m far from my best
Life is a lesson, I’m passing a test
Yes, everyting blessed
I don’t want drama and I don’t want stress
My girl got finessed, Caribbean flex
Body and chest, take buddy in chest
Thank God more, I grew up with less
Juss to the right, Rapz to the left
Rj in the middle, got Cee to the death
Batch full of dogs with the 60’s vets

[Chorus: Burna Boy]
If you send me the location
Then I’ll be right there
Let me come, come check you, my baby
No time, no
And my dawg is on probation
Another 5 years
Me bring girls to his location

[Refrain: Burna Boy]
Nigga I was down but I made it to the top right now
(Right now, right now, right now)
And I can pull a couple grand out my pocket right now
(Right now, right now, right now)
Yeah I’m so fly, yeah I’m flyer than a rocket right now
(Right now, right now, right now)
And all the games you play never stop right now
(Right now, right now, right now)

[Verse 3: Burna Boy]
I pull up on the block, I see everybody watching
‘Cause there’s diamonds on my chain
And there’s diamonds on my watch
Money moves, Off-White shoes
Came straight from Virgil Abloh
I’ve been down, I’ve been low
Had my mattress on the floor
No map, North Cap, bend it up
Gyal a ring-ring my cellular
Mi ‘ave big fat spliff pon me, nuh
Inna the big black Benz, pullin’ up
Please tell everybody to start pulling up
‘Nough champagne from the bar coming up
Party hard, make her live my life, oh

[Refrain: Burna Boy]
Nigga I was down but I made it to the top right now
(Right now, right now, right now)
And I can pull a couple grand out my pocket right now
(Right now, right now, right now)
Yeah I’m so fly, yeah I’m flyer than a rocket right now
(Right now, right now, right now)
And all the games you play never stop right now
(Right now, right now, right now)

[Chorus: Burna Boy]
If you send me the location
Then I’ll be right there
Let me come, come check you, my baby
No time, no
And my dawg is on probation
Another 5 years
Me bring girls to his location

Rick Steffen – Caribbean Blues II lyrics

The story I’m about to say – it just goes to show
How when you have A good thing – sometimes you let it go
One day the sun be shinin – your pleasures you can choose
The next day you be singin – those caribbean blues

Intro

There I was down island – my baby by my side
We had A love in the groove – that could not be denied
A man pulled up to the docks – with his fancy yacht
My baby hopped right on it – and left me on the spot

Oh…… – got those caribbean blues
You don’t know how bad it feels – til you’ got to loose
Oh… – got those caribbean blues
I’m gonna sail to my next island – and some better news

Intro + lead

Now when you travel down there – & meet those island girls
Be careful what you wish for – beneath those pretty curls
That girl there on the vessel – might look real good to you
But sooner or later – it’S the caribbean blues

(Chorus)
Ohhh those caribbean blues
You don’T know how bad it hurts – til you’Ve got to loose
Ohhh those caribbean blues-
Gonna sail to that next island – and some better news

MoStack – What I Wanna

[Intro]
Yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah
ILLBLU
You know I party with savages
In the club and I rass up the cannabis
Rass and rass and rass ’em

[Chorus]
I think I lost my mind, I can’t find that shit
I’m reckless in this life I live
I don’t think sometimes
I don’t even know why, baby I just live my life
I just do what I wanna, when I wanna, how I wanna
Baby gyal I just do what I wanna, when I wanna, how I wanna
I just do what I wanna, when I wanna, how I wanna

[Verse 1]
I like to kiss and cuddle and what?
Still a baddaman pon da baddaman block
Big ass jacket in Dubai, don’t ask why
Pass me the keys let me drive
Cah you’ve been smoking too much skunk
Plus I drive better when I’m drunk
I treat the car like a go-kart
Wouldn’t-a bust that red light if I was sober
I don’t respect my olders
I do what I want you can’t tell me no
I said I’m gonna be a star girl I told you so
Don’t be that guy that owes me dough
Send my ‘ooter down there with the chrome-y chrome
She’s like "when are you free?"
Never bitch I cost, if you drop out me
That’s your loss, I switch countries like I switch socks
Pull up, pull up when I drop that gloss

[Verse 2]
I saw this gyal at the zebra crossing
Black and white girl man it felt like a zebra crossing (yo shawty)
She said "can I get a lift?"
My girl with the lisp, said can I get a kiss
Indian gyal said I’m a bloody ghost
‘Cause all I do is hola then I adiós
Hit the Caribbean store for some curry goat
She said my meat taste good so she sucked the bone
I’m with a white girl, dancing with some stamina
She a wine to bashment while I’m grabbing her
She be moving like she’s got some black in her
That was before I put my black in her
I’m living so single and free
I sit comfy, knowing no-one’s cheating on me
My gyal even put her arms around me
She so comfy, she even fart around me

[Bridge]
I could pull up in the car if I want to (I just do it, do it)
Car if I want to (I just do it, do it)
Take a girl yard if I want to (I just do it, do it)
Go hard if I want to (I just do it, do it)
I’m a hustler, I thought you knew that
I could sell a Biggie Smalls album to 2Pac
I’m a hustler, I thought you knew that
I could sell a Biggie Smalls album to 2Pac

[Outro]
I just do what I wanna, when I wanna, how I wanna
ILLBLU
I just do what I wanna, when I wanna, how I wanna

JUNGLEPUSSY – State Of The Union lyrics

You think you poppin’ cause your new chick low maintenance
Yeah you can’t handle it and I don’t have the patience
Your stroke was weak nigga
Pacin’ in the n*gger, don’t be playin’ with the n*gger
They waiting for Junglepussy
I was playin’ with myself, prayin’ for vacation
On the top shelf, prayin on caucasian?
Rather rise above than to lay back complacin’
You think you up next but bitch I’m adjacent
[?] turn on me that’s a fact then I faced it
Pregnant with success, friends don’t want you to make it
Steady searchin’ for the truth, I don’t gotta chase it
I wish we never met but I cannot erase it
Layin’ in the hammock
Lie with my [?]
Keep it caribbean when you kick it with my crew
Keep your bloodclot ma quiet I do not f*ck with you
Keep the team on my hip and we stickier than glue
My birthday Halloween so I’m freakier than you
Eatin’ jerk chicken while I’m finessin in the booth
We play the same sport, I don’t smell like you
Get in the same cheese, I don’t melt like you
You cute and all but the combo’s whack
What’s good with that ain’t cool with that
No I can’t relax, no I can’t relapse
Lemme bounce back, where my soldiers at?
With they shoulders back, whatchu lookin at?
No cook crack with that black girl magic
I’m smokin’ Spike Lee joint she just gotta have it
Everybody wanna be black it’s so tragic
Everytime I wear clothes I’m stoppin’ traffic
Everybody here knows I am the baddest
Don’t worry where my hair grow, n*gger the fattest
My nookie my ass tits, I’m never average
Out the f*cking window your career in a casket
Imma hard [?] fried chicken got my eyes low
These bitches so greasy, that’s why I don’t never follow
Style f*ckin’ dated like I’m starin’ at a dino-
Soaring like a spaceship I’m just faded out the front door

Vybz Kartel Publicly Shamed Popcaan With Epic Snub

Vybz Kartel and Popcaan have not made peace despite some recent reporting.

The self-proclaim Worl’Boss celebrated his 42nd birthday on Sunday and a number of his past and current allies took the timeout to wish him a happy birthday on social media. We saw artists like Popcaan, Sean Kingston, Tommy Lee Sparta, Spice, and NotNice post images of Kartel while sending birthday greetings his way. Kartel liked all the posts except for Popcaan and fans took note and criticized him for it.

The Unruly Boss shout-out his former mentor twice during separate performances in the Caribbean over the holidays. But it’s his post on Instagram that causing some fans to speak out. “Popcaan you is a two face snake, you never go visit the boss not once but you trying to get a hype by posting this, leave the boss name out your bad mind mouth,” one fan wrote in the comments.

Sources inside the Gaza told Dancehall HipHop that Popcaan has yet to visit Vybz Kartel behind bars since his incarceration in 2011. We’re also told that he has in the past requested a visit but Kartel denied it. This is a clear sign that these two former friends, who had a father and son-like relationship, are not making peace anytime soon. The below images show Vybz Kartel liking posts from everyone while snubbing Popcaan.

“The boss like everybody posts except for yours yo no have no shame, come off a the man name and stop post up picture with the boss like you and him a friend,” another fan commented.

Wyclef Jean Explains Why He Likes Vybz Kartel So Much, Talks Reggae Influence Globally

Wyclef Jean is a big fan of Vybz Kartel and here is why he has so much respect for the incarcerated dancehall icon.

Clef is currently in Jamaica for the upcoming Shaggy and Friends benefit concert this weekend in Kingston. But before he graced the stage, he had a sit down with Winford Williams on OnStage where he opened up about local talents and the heavy usage of reggae/dancehall in mainstream music currently. Despite the heavy sampling of Jamaican music by international acts, very few local artists are making it to the mainstream like Shaggy and Sean Paul did.

“Do you know why I like Vybz Kartel so much,” Wyclef said. “Because he understands this, at the end of the day right, if I can’t sell you a CD right now and you said man Clef can’t sell music no more but guess what I know I can sell you for sure, a Wyclef guitar.”

The former Fugee frontman spoke at length about Caribbean artists talent and their need to understand the music business fully in order to push their careers to the top. “This is what I want kids to understand, the music business is a 360, when you coming in now create a brand, do not be just an artist no more, become a brand,” he said.

Wyclef Jean also spoke about his new album Carnival 3, going on tour next year, and his presidential bid for Haiti. He started out by clearing up some rumors about his foundation Yele Haiti after a New York-based state attorney conducted an investigation over financial irregularities. Clef said that the whole investigation was a smear campaign to take down his presidential bid. The entire interview was well received with the music icon opening up about a lot of topics. You can see him live this weekend at Shaggy and Friends on the lawns of Jamaica House.

Chronixx Calls For Dancehall Artists To Release More Positive Music

Chronixx is calling on dancehall artists to release more positive music.

The reggae singer has been vocal about the type of music he chooses to focus on and often weighs in on other artists music that he thinks are not socially acceptable, including music from controversial figures like Vybz Kartel. Chronixx performed in front a jam-packed crowd at Mas Camp in Kingston last weekend where he took timeout to speak out against crime and to call for his musical counterparts to stop recording violent music.

“Right now the people of Jamaica need fi hear some things and that’s why you have people like us. Music is a choice and every youth have a choice,” Chronixx said. “You can chose what you want to motivate your actions … whole heap a bredren we have weh drop out last week, the week before, the week before that. Warfare a gwaan inna we place and yet still you have some man who willing fi talk bout how much gun dem buss inna dem tune or whatever, like the killing is a joke thing.”

Are Rihanna and Popcaan Working On New Music?

Rihanna and Popcaan stirs up rumors that they are working on new music together.

The pop superstar and teh Unruly Boss were both in Barbados last weekend. Rihanna was on her home soil where she was honored with a street named after her, while Popcaan was there to perform at a concert. RiRi and her BFF Melissa Ford link up with Poppy for a candid photo that has since been making the rounds on social media.

Sources close to the “Work” singer told Dancehall HipHop that the two spoke about working together but so far nothing concrete. “They did spoke about collaborating but nothing concrete yet just the initiation,” sources said. “These are two great Caribbean artists who are fans of each other’s music so naturally they would want to work together. Only time will tell if we will get a song featuring Rihanna and Popcaan.”

Both artists are currently working on new albums so there isn’t a better time for them to drop a collaboration on one of the upcoming projects. Popcaan is close friends with Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Drake, so if this collab happens lets so how Drizzy will react to it. Last year RiRi had one of the biggest songs on the planet, her dancehall banger “Work” featuring Drake. The video for that single received almost a billion views on YouTube.

Roy Woods says the album is heavily influenced by dancehall culture, a genre of music originated in Jamaica and has a heavy presence in the Toronto music scene. “Say Less is loyal to the rich and varied Caribbean influence of Toronto, with ‘Take Time’ in particular melding two of his most cherished influences: Michael Jackson and dancehall culture,” he said in a statement on iTunes.

Is Tommy Lee Sparta Making Mumble Dancehall Music

Tommy Lee Sparta is being accused of making mumble dancehall music?

While mumble rap became a thing in hip hop in recent years, mumble dancehall is not a thing, at least not yet. Some fans are accusing Tommy Lee Sparta of making mumble music, but unless you’re a hardcore dancehall follower you may not always understand what he is saying in his songs. Sean Kingston and Tommy Lee debut their new video for their first collaboration “Cross Over” on WorldStarHipHop yesterday and fans have been weighing in.

“WTF when since dancehall artist start with this mumble rap foolishness, this guy [Tommy Lee Sparta] isn’t even saying real words, this is trash,” one fan wrote while another added, “This guy is just making a bunch of sounds he is not even rapping they should keep this mumble foolishness out of reggae at least cats like Sean Paul and Beenie Man use real words even if its patois.”

One thing we should point out about this is that most of the critics were American based fans who are probably used to Sean Kingston reggae-pop flavor of music and not hardcore dancehall. So for those who don’t understand what Tommy Lee is saying here is a snippet of his lyrics. “Clean in a new bank robber / Time is money watch the gal them a fallow / Full of gold chains like a me name Shaba / Every body know me a the lyrical bomber / Scarface, Toni Montana, mi jus spend a million dollar / Weed me smoke me don’t run coke joke / Last boy this run up inna gun smoke,” Sparta spits.

“Any American saying they dont understand Tommy Lee verse gotta embrace it cuz u know y i don’t understand sh*t you’ll mumble rappers be saying yet still I’m from the Caribbean an i embrace you’ll sh*t so dont get it twisted,” one dancehall fan wrote. “Too me Tommy’s verse sounds more like a new style in mumbling so maybe he might be bigger than lil pump, xxxtenation, ski mask.”

Beenie Man Says Spice Is Not The New Queen Of Dancehall

Beenie Man says Spice is not the new queen of dancehall music at least not yet.

Earlier this tear, Spice crowned herself the new reigning queen of Jamaica’s dominant music genre, dancehall, a title previously held by Lady Saw who is now a gospel artist and a pastor. In 2015, Lady Saw relinquished her crown to become a Christian and she never looked back. She struggled with the transition for years before finally making her break-through. Since then no one stepped up to set on the throne at least not until this year when Spice stepped up to the plate.

There is no doubt that Spice has been a force in dancehall for the past few years, but is it enough to wear the crown for the queen of the dancehall? Beenie Man answered that question during an interview with Winford Williams on OnStage last weekend. “Well the queen of dancehall baptized now… Marion Hall [Lady Saw], the queen of dancehall baptized,” Beenie Man said. “So I am here to see the next queen to come.” When asked about Spice crowning herself, Beenie said, “Well she is the one that stepped up to the plate but that’s not how you become the queen.”

“Because if you’re going to take Lady Saw crown then you have to do what Lady Saw did like no disrespect, you can’t do less work and [want to be the queen],” Beenie added. The dancehall king lamented that Spice will have to elevate her career to the same heights as Lady Saw in order to gain the respect of the fans. “Becomes that artist that you know… she is Spice in Jamaica, she is Spice everywhere Jamaicans is, she is Spice everywhere Caribbean people is, she needs to be Spice where American and British people meet,” the Doc continues. “I am not talking about watching Instagram and talking about song, reaching the people ears the right way, being that artist that we can sit down in Jamaica and look on you on MTV and look on you on VH1 and say alright she has done it and she has reached that point. Because Lady Saw did it and she reached that point.”

Beenie Man added that Spice is more like the queen-elect, but still has more work to do to elevate her career to the next level.

Rihanna Blast Trump On Twitter For Response To Puerto Rico Hurricane

Rihanna is furious with President Trump over his administration response to Puerto Rico amidst a humanitarian crisis on the island.

For the past week, the president has been getting a lot of criticism from celebrities on Twitter about the slow response to help the people of Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria wrecked havoc on the island last week. Rihanna added her voice to the mix on Thursday when she tweeted out the cover of the New York Daily News which highlights the severity of the crisis on the Caribbean island which is also a U.S. territory.

“Dear [Donald Trump] I know you’ve probably already seen this, but I just wanted to make sure! Don’t let your people die like this,” she tweeted. She received over 200,000 likes and 100,000 plus retweets with lots of people commending her for using her platform to shed more light on the situation. The five former living presidents have also joined in the effort to help hurricane ravage Puerto Rico.

Rihanna has never been afraid to voice her opinion on humanitarian crisis around the world and she doesn’t care if she buck heads with the president. She raised millions of dollars through her foundation to help educate young girls around the world and also to help fight cancer.

Popcaan and Ivy Layne Drop “One You Love” Video Prod By Jah Snowcone

Popcaan snagged a collaboration with Billboard producer Jah Snowcone and new artist Ivy Layne on a single titled “One You Love” and the music video is now out.

The track has been doing well locally and internationally since making its debut last month. The original single was just Ivy Layne alone and was released in April, but Snowcone wanted a dancehall artist on the track and that artist turned out to be Popcaan.

“We felt that Popcaan would be the best artiste for Ivy Layne to collaborate with on One You Love,” Jah Snowcone said. The music video was shot earlier this month in Portland, Jamaica. The cut features Popcaan and Layne linking up in the club after she took a dip in the Caribbean sea. You can see the breathtaking view of the Portland hills in the clip.

Jah Snowcone is a legendary dancehall producer who earned a Billboard Music Award in 2005 for his work on Sean Paul’s chart topping single “Temperature” off his album The Trinity. He went on to receive an American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Award. Snowcone also produced hit songs for dancehall legend Bounty Killer, Spragga Benz, Capleton, Elephant Man and more.

Snowcone launched a new label Cape Republic Records with Haitian supermodel Tyrone Edmund where they will focus on branding and artist development. Ivy Layne is one of the first artists that the label sign and the duo have been pushing her career on the international market. Cape Republic Records will be the label to show the world how talented Caribbean producers actually are,” Snowcone added. The legendary producer is focusing on Jamaican influence music and is looking to take big Jamaican music projects worldwide much like he did while working with Sean Paul over a decade ago. Toda SP is one of the biggest dancehall stars on the planet.

CALVIN HARRIS
Skrt On Me Lyrics (feat. Nicki Minaj)

Young Money

Said, baby, no, no, no, no, no

You know my loving ain’t free, babe
Won’t make you do what you don’t wanna do
What you don’t wanna do, no that ain’t me, babe
Said, baby, nah nah nah, I ain’t with the drama
That ain’t what I need
I need your tin heart now, need your ten toes down, baby

Said if you ride, baby, ride up
Pull up from behind, baby, wine up
And you and me, we can shine up
So, baby, come make your mind up
Said if you ride, baby, ride up
Pull up from behind, baby, wine up
And you and me, we can shine up
So, baby, come make your mind up

Baby, babe, I need you to skrt on me, babe
Drop down, less that you know, I need to know
‘Cause you keep telling me your love ain’t free, babe
But if you with it, wine up on me
‘Cause the hips don’t lie, baby
Drop down, less that you know, I need to know
‘Cause you keep telling me your love ain’t free, babe

Said, baby, I-I-I got so used to it being on a creep babe
Yeah, maybe I-I-I got so used to just giving you the least, babe
But nowadays, I need more from ya
I need something I can keep
Said nowadays, I need real
Nowadays, I need you to take the lead

Said if you ride, baby, ride up
Pull up from behind, baby, wine up
And you and me, we can shine up
So, baby, come make your mind up
Said if you ride, baby, ride up
Pull up from behind, baby, wine up
And you and me, we can shine up
So, baby, come make your mind up

Baby, babe, I need you to skrt on me, babe
Drop down, less that you know, I need to know
‘Cause you keep telling me your love ain’t free, babe
But if you with it, wine up on me
‘Cause the hips don’t lie, baby
Drop down, less that you know, I need to know
‘Cause you keep telling me your love ain’t free, babe

Ay yo, bring in the blunt, Emily Blunt
Platinum back, ice bling in the front
I’ma lay in the jump, Yao Ming in the dunk
And I’m playing the field, Brad Wing in the punt
I’ma tell him I love him in a foreign and cuff him
Whips and immigration, everything on him, it’s custom
Now they calling me Billy, I’m the goat
No Achilles heel since I left Philly
Countin’ them millis to billis
Beep beep beep beep, put the hurt on me
Yeah, I’m wearing jeans, but he put the skirt on me
Rode him to sleep, and then I put his shirt on me
Pussy clean, these niggas ain’t got no dirt on me
Gotta play it by my rules, so I swerve on him
Got my cash money, you can ask Bird or Slim
Took him to my Paradise, so he grippin’ my linen
Now he got a big thing for Caribbean women

Baby, babe, I need you to skrt on me, babe
Drop down, less that you know, I need to know
‘Cause you keep telling me your love ain’t free, babe
But if you with it, wine up on me
‘Cause the hips don’t lie, baby
Drop down, less that you know, I need to know
‘Cause you keep telling me your love ain’t free, babe
Baby, babe, I need you to skrt on me, babe
Drop down, less that you know, I need to know
‘Cause you keep telling me your love ain’t free, babe
But if you with it, wine up on me
‘Cause the hips don’t lie, baby
Drop down, less that you know, I need to know
‘Cause you keep telling me your love ain’t free, babe

Horrible Histories – British Things lyrics

[Intro]
I love to be a British queen
I am Victoria, you see
Now where’s my British butler
With my British cup of tea?
Tea is not from Britain, ma’am
From India it was brought
Yes, for your cuppa, thousands died
And many wars were fought

[Chorus]
British things, my British things
It seems that tea is not
British things, my British things
Can I sweeten it a jot?

[Verse 1]
Do tell me sugar’s British though
No, it’s Caribbean imported
For sugar in your cup of tea
Slavery’s been supported
I know it’s wrong, your majesty
But slaves in Africa
Worked hard in fields of sugar cane
To sweeten up your char

[Chorus]
British things, ah British things
I thought that there were many
British things, ah British things

Afraid there’s hardly any

[Verse 2]
You know your British cotton vest
What’s wrong with it?
Explain!
The cotton’s from America
And picked by… slaves again!

[Verse 3]
Your empire’s built on fighting wars
That’s how your income’s swollen
Your British things are from abroad
And most are frankly stolen

[Hook]
Whatever next? Go on! Pray tell!
Our British queen is foreign as well?

[Verse 4]
It’s true, I am of foreign descent
And your husband, Albert? A German gent!
At least I’ve got a British name
Victoria’s Latin… that’s a shame!

[Chorus]
British things, ah British things
There are no, we declare
All our favourite British things
Seem to come from elsewhere!

Ray Blk – My Hood

[Verse 1: Ray BLK]
Socks and sliders everywhere and every day
Full English breakfast at a caff, not a café
No, no, baby, we don’t let strangers come our way
But you should come to my hood, my hood, my hood
Meet me at Morley’s, best fried chicken is in South
I’ll show you gangsters, don’t you go running your mouth
Mopeds are racing, 2AM outside my house, oh yeah, it’s loud
But come to my hood, my hood, my hood

[Link: Ray BLK]
Oh, you should come to my hood, my hood, my hood, my hood
You should come to my hood, my hood, my hood
Yeah, you should come to my hood, my hood, my hood, my hood
You should come to my hood, my hood, my hood
[Verse 2: Ray BLK]
Barely anyone at school after 15
We’re chasing paper then Blue Borough should be green
I won’t lie, finding a way out is our dream
But you should come to my hood, my hood, my hood
Top floor of Pepys estate, we’ll show you our world
That building turns you to a woman from a girl
Now time to stop, life flashes past you in a whirl
But you should come to my hood, my hood, my hood

[Chorus: Ray BLK]
On these streets, these streets
In the dark, we glow
On these streets, these streets
We’re high when it’s low
On these streets, these streets
Through concrete, flowers grow
In my hood, my hood, my hood, my hood
You should come to my hood, my hood, my hood

[Verse 3: Stormzy]
I’m from a hood where niggas make their money, then they move
The woman in the Caribbean shop is always rude
Tryna get a patty just to compliment my food
So why you gotta tell my friends to move?
No, we gotta balls the food when we see the feds spin it
Bare “wah gwan”s, I ain’t seen you for a minute
Coming from the land of wings and chicken filets
Where you’re from, man won’t be able to read but he can bill it
You can see why that’s a problem, any given problem
Staring in my face? I’mma ask you “what’s the problem?”
You can be Bane or you can be Robin
But we’ve had a lot of Dark Knights living up in Gotham
Man, there’s babies having babies, man, it’s crazy up in my hood
Shit’s got me praying that I die good
Where we’d rather buy guns before we buy books
Where they left us in the dark, so we light kush, my hood

[Bridge: Ray BLK]
There’s no place like home, no place like home
Buy me any ticket, I don’t wanna go
To a town where there’s no one like me round
Don’t take me there or anywhere

[Chorus: Ray BLK]
On these streets, these streets
In the dark, we glow
On these streets, these streets
We’re high when it’s low
On these streets, these streets
Through concrete, flowers grow
In my hood, my hood, my hood, my hood
You should come to my hood, my hood, my hood
